Your not even on the same playing field man. The 07's have much better heads/powerbands right from the factory.
Not to knock your times just pre07 trucks won't see times like you will without way more mods.

I understand that they weigh more and all the ups downs lefts and rights about em.
Fact is the 07's come from the factory highly superior to the preivous years.
That is why you can run what you run with minor bolt ons and previous years can not will not and do not hit those times with equal mods ever.

Do the newer 5.3s have as much low end torque as the older 5.3s? On the gm media site the newer 5.3 don't have as much torque down low and the torque peak comes at a higher rpm?

Add a 3k stall and it would go low 13's.
But anyway to the question, with me in it she weighs in at 4150.
Fairly light yet i can pull over 200lbs of stuff if i ever wanna make a track pass not a street pass, and i weigh 260lbs so take off another 100lbs for a light weight driver mod lol.

Get em man 4.10 is the way to go for sure. I had 3.42's in my ecsb and my rcsb made me realize how good 4.10's are.
Once i get my tranny/stall junk fixxed up i'm gonna add 4.10's to the ecsb list.

Of course i have been tossing around the idea of swapping motors with the two trucks and making my rcsb a 11sec na ride haha. Just not sure i have the motivation just yet to pull two motors just yet.

WHAT A GOOD STALL I MEAN BRAND WISE SO IF I GO WITH A 3000 IT WOULD HIT THE 13 FOR SURE OH AND A 4.10 RIGHT
