I have. couple of times 6500lbs street legal class. This was before cam and cat-back. 237' and took 7th place. top pull was 305'. But then again only mine was actually street legal and the only one driven to the event.
for the newb's out there - total combine weight of sled was around 44,000bls including weight in the box. Just when the front plate drops, you better have ground speed and the tires hooked. Or the sled with show you what your motor is made of.
Also found a club that seems to be willing to work with me on joining, since I am 5 ci over their cubic inch limit for street legal.
whippled HD: how you do, and what setup did you do?
Sorry the long reply, Just jazzed up about next season might be in the points race!!!
