So I've been trying to mate the trans back to the engine and I was having some issues. The engine is tilted towards the passenger side meaning the trans has to rotate to hook up to it. This is because my motor mounts are shot so I am going to go ahead and get the motor mounts now, install them and it should make the trans install way easier. This should fix my false knock, my headers laying on my frame and allow the engine to sit right and make my life a hell of a lot easier.

I think it is worse than this but moral of the story

Also I spilt like all my ATF out on my driveway so that's fun. I have ATF on my shelf though.

You can sort of twist the trans depending on where the floor jack is to the pan (of course pan protected with a piece of wood). Be careful not to let it slip off.

I can't really get it lined up properly enough to twist it. I may just need to have another go at it this weekend. I spent two nights in a row trying to get it hooked up and it was always just a half inch off or something.
It is just me out there on the floor so not the best conditions haha, if I had a tranny jack it may be a lot easier
