Hey Silverado Sport Truck since you are going to go ahead and take off the cover, how about trading covers with me? Mine is a 2000 and the cover is a little smaller than the covers on the 2002's.

I have smoothed/painted 6.0L engine covers, and have ran with them on and off in the same night and seen no difference at all either way. I actually took 2nd in the all-chevy bracket later that night and the truck was still dead-nuts consistant!

just got home from the track and then stop to drink a few beers <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> at taco cabana on the way home. figured we would end a good night at the track with some good late night drinking. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
