Question Reasonably Priced Place to buy GT2-3 Cam & Valvetrain Components

Was wondering were the best place you guys found to purchase a GT2-3 cam, the installation package, rockers, springs, and pushrods.
Anything else I need to replace while I'm in there? The truck only has 26,500mi on it.
Also, which brand of rockers, pushrods, and springs(which ones) do you guys recommend?
Any help to keep my budget down would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

I haven't bought one myself, but I have noticed some fair prices on Lingenfelter's website (LS6 oil pump for $79....everywhere else I look they're like $150, although I'm not sure if the Lingenfelter one is ported). Can't provide a link since their a non-sponsor, but the cam kit you're looking for is $399 for cam and springs and free UPS shipping

You can re-use your stock rockers and retainers, but I'd look into some hardened pushrods.

Another option is to check the classifieds for a used GT2-3, and get a set of LS6 springs from Scoggin Dickey for about $60 shipped.

dont know where, but just a suggestion, I would leave the stock rockers on.... I believe someone couldnt get there truck down (e.t. wise) to what they wanted, they had the same cam, radix and he had changed the rockers, and I think that was putting him @ .600+ lift which was too much for his truck.. I would read up on it .... just an fyi...

Thanks, but no used stuff goes in my motor.
I was thinking about the Comp Cams springs and pushrods. Just don't know which springs or pushrods to use or where the cheapest place is to buy.
$399.00 isn't bad, but I don't usually like purchasing at retail pricing. Was just hoping a little cheaper on the cam and kit combo.
Anyone else?
Just PM me if you don't want to post it please.

Thanks,

Jim

As fair as I know, the GT2-3 cam is only sold by Lingenfelter. http://www.lingenfelter.com/ as for the rest of the parts, I am sure that others will comment.

I'm a little while away from a cam swap but I like that cam and $399 for a cam and springs shipped sounds reasonable.

I hear ya there Jim, especially hard parts. I'll take a chance on some used injectors or bolt ons, but only new internals for me too
