Rebuilt "built" Tranny is back in, new stall...
So you heard the story... My new built 4L65 took a dump (5 pinion) on day 3 (basically the 1st time I got on it). This gave me a good chance to send back my new PI Vig 3000 rpm stall and have it upped a few hundred rpm. I'm not sure what they're calling this one, 3200 maybe?
Anyway, let me know what rpm you think the stall should be "flashing" at. I was thinking if its a 3200rpm stall, it shoudl flash at or around 3200rpm. Am I correct in my thinking? So when I let off the brake, then mash the throttle, it should hit 3200rpms right away, right?

2 stalls > Brake stall. Point (RPM) at which the vehicle will start pulling/turning tires with brake applied. For a 2800 stall this should be about 2800. Flash Stall > Point (RPM) at which the verter will flash to from a punch assuming good traction. For a 2800 stall would think in your big *** vehicle around 3200 rpm?

I did this a couple of times and it's definitely brake-stalling beyond 3000rpms. Once I get more *****, I'll see how high it's really brake-stalling. I just think it's odd how low it flash-stalls. I wouldn't doubt your statement (B)on them not knowing how much (or little) low end torque I'm making at those rpms.

I have a TCI 3000 stall in my truck with close enough to the same weight truck as you and my 3000 flashes(punching no brake stalling just letting off the brake and punching it) to 3300 or so you definately need to call the mnufacturer and tell them your problem this is not an ordinary thing your stall should always flash higher than when you brake stall it atleast from my personal experiences.
