Of course the truck was fine this morning, no lights. On the way to Autozone it did it again, check engine then reduced engine power.

Autozone pulled these codes:
P0120- electrical circuit TPS
P0220- same
P0516-batt temp sensor too low ???
P1516- IMRC input error (bank 1)

They did not have a TPS to sell me, told me it was a dealer item. Took the truck to a shop across from work to have them change the TPS while I was at work. Of course the problem went away at this shop. They pulled these codes:
P0101- The most recent code
P0120
P0220
P1516
I was told the TPS tested good and should try and move the mass air sensor as it might be getting hot. The guy kinda didn't want to change the TPS.

Took the truck home -no lights- running good.

Spoke to the shop that did the install and they said to send them the PCM. Maybe if it stops raining I can get it out tomorrow.

i have been thru this exact problem. for me it was anytime i am in 2wd and i lit up the tires i would go into reduced power mode. the fix is easy if you have a edit or flashscan. it is just like flyer is saying.

i dont know if you can get rid of it without a programer. let me see if i can find the label on that chart you need to change. seems like all i did was double all the numbers and my problem went away.

ETC predicted airflow is the one i changed. i think i doubled it a long time ago when i first got the turbo and then had more problems when i got the 408 so doubled it again. the max numbers in that chart are now in the 2500 range. i think they were around 600 or 700 stock. no problems since i fixed that chart.

I never thought about that. I guess that would really suck.

And I thought my 2500 stall was bad enough I would have been creamed this morning crossing a busy highway.

I don't have ls1 edit but am thinking of getting it for further tuning. Of course I am horrible with computers so I would get someone to play with it. How about a decent scan tool. Not a superduper one like the tech 2 but just a basic one.

skip the scan tool, get flashscan. it has a killer scan tool/data loger and programs. i am prety sure hptuners has that same chart since edit and flashscan has it but maybe not. from what i have seen hptuners is alot like flashscan.

do not get edit, it sucks.
