Relocating MAF
Has anyone done this. I was thinking of moving right in front of the throttle body to get more accurate results. Would there be any gains in this would it make your truck run better because its getting more accurate readings? Just wondering.

I wouldn't move it. My experience with mass-air vehicles is that the MAF has to be a predetermined distance from the throttle body to get an accurate vacuum signal. The ecu's are generally calibrated for such.

don't jack with it too much. it is true to a point the the closer it is to the tb, the more accurate it will be, but, you may encounter unwanted turbulence that will hurt you more than help you. certainly don't do it like the above pics with the heat we get in tx.
