Remove 1 of 2 mufflers for cutout help
Well, lately I've been tinkering with the truck, preparing for a baby and all that's due soon as well, I currently have a 5.3 with tr224 cam 112+4 with pacesetter lts and pry into 3" dynomax bullet into 3" piping into a tbss muffler dumped after axle, and I love how it sounds now, had a full corsa sport exhaust that was rather loud, so toned it down with the dynomax bullet in front of the corsa, then right before Christmas made a sweet deal on selling corsa, and added the tbss. So now here is what I'm thinking, ever since I swapped to the tbss muffler, my exhaust sits too low and rattles against the transmember brace, so I have to wedge a piece of wood in it every couple of weeks, so I need to get it fixed, so I'm thinking when I finally bring truck to muffler shop to get it fixed, I'm thinking of cutting off the bullet muffler which I believe is 18", and adding an electric cutout. I am just wondering if I run the lts/ory if it will be quieter than it is now, Which is what I want for now with the baby coming, and when its time to play go straight with the open cutout, so anyone has videos of there truck with a single cutout? And maybe someone has an exhaust like mine with tbss muffler only I would like to hear thanks lol, sorry for the long thread, but I'm kinda set on doing this.

here's what I did with Oval cutouts instead of round ones that you use on a Y. Had to cut the Dynomax just a touch on the end but worked well. This cutout is between the Y pip and the Dynomax and then i have another one after the dynomax followed by a Borla XR1 so I can have 3 different tones. Quiet, Loud, Real Loud.
