removing 4.8 and installing 6.0
I own a 2000 chevy silverado ext.cab, I am in the process of modifing a 2002 6.0 (LQ9) and tranny(4L80E) Boring block to 408 C.I. replacing crank with a 4340 forged steel crank, Installing forged pistones, replacing rods, going with stage 2 LS1 heads, and LSX manifold, trying to achieve 450HP +. and installing that into my 2000 Silverado ext cab. I am planning on swapping over the 6.0 pcm as well, does anyone know will I have to change out the complete wiring harness with the 2002 harness or will my 2000 harness work with the 6.0 pcm? Thanks for any info that you can give.

No problem 6.0! My best run with the 3.42's was 16.4 and that was in 90 degree weather with around 65% humidity(its bad in Louisiana and Texas!!) Two days after I got the 4.10's(and remember Im still peg leg and not having traction problems) and my best run was a 16.0 and the weather was basiclly exactly the same! I've been hitting 16.1's more than anything but weather is a dog here but Im reallly happy with my time vs. the mods I've done! The track gains were sweet but driving on the street is a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
