oooh i like that idea... good call i might have to do that... and thats a good excuse to buy a good tap and die set

I had to grind about 1/8" off the bottom side of the flange of the egr bung and that fixed all of the clearance issues.

yea i would do that but it aint worth it to me to take em back off.

aubigmac you wouldnt happen to have a pic of how much you ground off would you?

and so uhh not to change the subject or anything but 04BlackGMC why did you need to put a catch can on your truck? i thought only people with strokers needed a catch can?

I cut mine off and welded it shut. Just because I dont have EGR and didnt want the tube there.

all genIII V8's have the oil issue...I can plenty in mine.

I don't have a pic but I just bolted on the block off plate and ground it off to the bolt head. It's tight but it's not hitting the frame anymore.
