Default Replace Cats after Piston brake?

I got thinking about the turbo Eating all those small pieces of piston, It's got me a little worried.

I broke a piece off one of the pistons and have yet to find it, I know it will be in very small pieces thanks to the drive home after it started raddling (sp) it was a short drive, less than 1/2 mile.
I'm guessing the cat cought most of the pieces, the exhaust side of the turbo looks o.k. So should I replace the cats, got to have them for emissions.
Or just keep running them until they are plugged? The truck got 88,000 miles.
I can't take the exhaust off with out pulling all the crossmembers, and I can't see the cat well enough with a mirror down the pipe. I real think I'll be replacing the cat but if it cought the pieces it should hold them in there right?............

Go ahead and replace them its not worth loosing the turbo over. They should hold the pieces until the cats actually go bad then pieces of the cat and piston will be going into the turbo. I would normally say replace them after 100,000 miles and you are close so go ahead and spend the money on new ones. Its worth it IMO.
