Default Resetting the ECU

What is the best way to do this?

I believe that it might be taping both the positive and negative terminal together. Really dont know if it resets it but heard it helps it learn quicker.

Two ways....pull the ECM1 fuse, and/or remove the negative batt cable for 30 seconds.
