75rwhp - no way. Youshould make good gains with a good sized cam and heads that really compliment the blower. But heads alone probably are worth 30-50 depending on what you get and what you had.

I agree with XLR8NSS, don't bother with a mail order tune, get that thing in the hands of a tuner.

With the new AFR Heads, a good torquey cam, and long tubes, our Z06 made an additional 80hp at the wheels with a solid tune. Figure about 35 from the cam, 20ish from the long tubes, and 25ish from the Heads (of course the Tune is key, and the Heads/Cam really needed the Headers).

If I had to do it over again, I'd throw an STS turbo on there!

You need more cam for thoses heads,220-560-114LC,get more injector, and like TeX said newer PCM and a local dyno tune, look around the vette forums and look for local chaperts find out the vette guru tuners and call and find out if they specialize in trucks also,im sure theres plenty of supertuners in Cali

100K miles on a 6.0 shortblock? thats nothing if its been maintained,im sure it has.

Give a call to nelson performance. He should be able to get you much more power than that hypertech will.

Get a custom tune based on one of these year model tunes and it will be even better.
Are the 01/02 computers "better" to tune than a 99's computer? Or are you talking about the stock tune the 01/02's came with? I have a 99 and hpt. Would changing to an 01/02 (or even 03) be of any benefit at all? (p.s. sorry for stealing your thread!)

The biggest problem with getting a tune is that I live in Belize, Central America and the closest drive to get tuned would be to drive to Houston. Gonzo 6.0 is right about the short block being in good shape, I could still see the cross hatch in the piston bores, I was surprised.

Maybe tuning it yourself would be the best option. Order a copy of HPTuners and get an old used laptop and tune away.

I bought the AFR190s for my car about 2 years ago. Really nice out of the box heads. Could tell a pretty good difference. The only problem I had with them,I put a little to much umph on the A/C bracket bolt. Stripped it and had to stick a helie coil in it.

So living down there you can kick *** on 99% of all the trucks there, just the way you it is now.Either tune it yourself like Flyer said or do a Nelson, anything but hypertech, your leaving to much on the table, buy a wide band so you know where you are at now.
