rev limiter quick question

Post rev limiter quick question

ive always wondered how high can i rev my engine with out damaging or breaking anything. its a 4.8 stock internals. is there a limit for me to stop at or does it have a limiter on its own? rpm wise

If your tune is stock it has a built in limiter. I want to say it's somewhere around 5500 RPM but I can't remember for sure.

I've spun mine into the 6500 region before and it held. I'm in on this though, because I'm curious as well as to just how far you can take these.

I believe most hated said he has been shifting his 4.8 with 14psi at like 7800...those engines are nuts.

yea I've heard of guys running there 4.8s crazy high on the scale. But most of them are running completely different set ups. I've just always wondered for stock 4.8s cause the cluster only goes to 6k and I've been there all the way. Just always wondered if I'm damaging my internals
