Default Rewiring the Traction Control switch/light

I'd like to rewire the TC switch/light so the light on the dash panel lights up when traction control is ON, not OFF, like it does now. Has anyone ever done this? I could probably figure out how to do this myself, but I figure if someone else has already done it....

Mine is always on unless I turn it off....it comes that way from the factory. When I turn it off, there is a light on the dash with the letters "TC" inside a circle, with a line through it, indicating that I have turned TC off. I can set it so it is always off, but that damn light stays on, which bothers me.

I think yours is working the opposite way. Have it check at the dealer.

Mine works just like NakedAV's. I set it up so that the default is in the off position, so the light is always on. I think that maybe the SUV and AV might have a different setup than the trucks.

How the heck to you make it default OFF. Mine is on until I turn it off, then it shows the TC with the line thru it...

There's a procedure in the manual, it's like 10 steps, you turn the key on and press on the brake pedal and push some buttons....pretty humorous if it wasn't so involved, it's almost like voodoo....

Does that light bug you or are you used to it?

Even if I get used to it, I don't want passengers asking, "Is there something wrong with your truck?" That's why I want to rewire it.
