No, it's a piece of cake...just use a Sharpie or El Marko... I've seen some guys have a hard time, but I think it depends on the marker you use. I used a thick El Marko the most recent time that I did this, when I installed my 1.7 Harland Sharps, and it worked flawlessly. Swipe pattern was perfect btw...I should have taken pics...
