Default rod bearings

where is a good place to get rod bearings and what is a good brand (clevite?) or factory gm bearings

You can get them at any local auto parts store. I have Clevites in mine. Just ask for rod bearings for a regular gen 1 SBC. They are the same.

so clevite bearing are good right? what about rings what should i go with on those i found the at gm part direct for $27 for the set.

I am gussing this is true for all the gen 3? I need rod bearing for a LQ9. What about main bearings and cam bearings anybody have part numbers for them?

GM parts direct is the cheapest place to get them 9 out of 10 times. They are also a good place to find p/n's for odd parts like that.

i got the part numbers from gm parts direct but they don't have them to sell i guess couse i put them in the basket or shopping cart then they didn't a price or anything.
