actually with the tranny pulled you may be able to slide the oil pan out without droping the front diff.

thats what i was thinking. hey while i got you hear will the tt3000 soften my shifts enough to use a washer in the 2nd accumilator?

I you don't drill the seperator plate I think one washer will be good. I had one washer and drilled plate and the part throttle shift was harsh with a 2600 stall.

right now with my tune it will bark the 1-2 shift at part throttle but not at wot at wot it seems like it take 2-3 seconds to shift. it sucks

I'm not a big automatic man. I have never actually worked on a 4l60e. I only work on them when I have to. The only automatic I own is my wife's 04 tahoe and that is just because you can't get them with a 5 speed. I prefer to drive than ride
