Imwondering if I should send them back
Give me a break, he really told you that? So the concept of decreased side loading of the valve tip (and consequently decreased valve guide wear), rather than drag a fixed nose rocker across the valve tip during quick ramp rates that increase side loading, is a bad idea???? Does anyone else see my point here?

I might habe missunderstood his theory myself but im not an engine genious, but after doing slot of research I have found the harland sharps are a bad idea, I do believe that I want a roller rocker but think I'm going with a shaft mount possibly yt's. There's no way types would cause problems.

Possibly citing the very thing I listed in my post above about valve side loading? Or could be due to rocker arm mounting pads designed for use with roller rockers? Rocker stud mount diameter? Possibly a myriad of concerns. I re-read through your thread and do agree with the others about the stock rockers being lighter at the nose and pushrod cups (This is where it counts as extra inertia at these points will just lead to reduced valve-train stability and lost power). As long as the bearings on the stockers are in good shape and the contact points look good they should be usable.

So buy new STOCK rockers.

I think the real question is. Has anyone ran a huge cam in high rpms for that many miles. As you were told, they aren't good for a cam Your Size and Ramp Rate. So comparing it to a smaller cam wouldn't really help any.
