I had the truck dynoed once after the cam install and wasn't able to get a tune because the stock injectors became usless I think it dynoed at 318 305 but after I put some 43lb injectors and had it tuned we were guessing about 340 345 horse it will spin the 33s from about 15mph the 31s will spin from 35mph!

I appreciate it I actually bought new harland sharp rockers and was getting ready to install them Thursday along with my heads and was talking to thunder racing (shayne) he told me that they would be worse than the stockers on my setup, he said any roller rocker on ls motor is bad idea, especially with the ramp rate and agressiveness of the lobes on my cam. Imwondering if I should send them back

I might habe missunderstood his theory myself but im not an engine genious, but after doing slot of research I have found the harland sharps are a bad idea, I do believe that I want a roller rocker but think I'm going with a shaft mount possibly yt's. There's no way types would cause problems.

Possibly citing the very thing I listed in my post above about valve side loading? Or could be due to rocker arm mounting pads designed for use with roller rockers? Rocker stud mount diameter? Possibly a myriad of concerns. I re-read through your thread and do agree with the others about the stock rockers being lighter at the nose and pushrod cups (This is where it counts as extra inertia at these points will just lead to reduced valve-train stability and lost power). As long as the bearings on the stockers are in good shape and the contact points look good they should be usable.
