running low 13's how to?

Default running low 13's how to?

hey im new here my first post i have a 03 rcsb 2wd w/ AEM brute force intake k@n filter, superchips micro tuner,dual flowmaster super 40's (vibrates the hell outa my cab lovin em) and will add eaton posi to my 3.42 will my truck handle 150 shot of nos and wat else should i do to run low 13's n/a of course i dont have 5k for a power adder but futer plans for a 6.0l is possible thanks id apreciate any help to see my truck go to http://www.freewebs.com/smokas_toyz/

what motor do you have?
also if you run Nitrous and run a 13 that wont be considered N/A..
swap your gears. go to either a 3.73, 3.90, or a 4.10
look into a stall.
also ditch the hand held, and find someone****cough*cough* "sponsors"------------> cough*cough******** to tune your ride..
really need to know what motor you got to give you any info tho

my motor is a 5.3 dynod at 252 rwhp before my exhuast dont know wat it has now i am planning on a yank 3000 stall i see alota people use nelson tuning are they really that much better then my hand held im willing to trash the 300 buck hand held if so lol and one more question i have dual exshuast with stock manifolds and cats can i run long tubes without my cats i live in oklahoma they dont smog test so wat happens to my comp if i take the cats off?

i had a nelson tune, 3.42's eaton, bullet exhaust and a tb spacer. with et streets and a stock tranny on a 150 shot of nitrous i ran a best of a 13.44@104 with the stock 5.3. its come along way since then

with a rich 125 shot, ive managed a 13.11 @ 105 on Toyo Proxes.

With out any major mods and a SMALL shot of nitrous I ran 13.7's with less then 300 cid. If you want to hit low 13's it is not very hard.

5.3+Gears+stall+tune+lsd=and your about there.

a good exhaust and nitrous on top of that and you tickle 12's

with an 02+ rcsb 5.3 u can get close to 13s without nitrous, just boltons. a few guys did it

i agree with what everyone has said, get a tune other than the handheld, nitrous, and a stall, you should be there.

yep if I can reach 13's with a 4.8L N/A than you should be able to with your 5.3L
