You can give www.partszonline.com a call about the escalade handles and they sell them for $25 a handle plus they will paint them for $30 a handle. So, you can get both handles already painted for $110 plus actual shipping. My shipping was $10.

I have the GU6 which is 3.42's. Guess I will be swapping in a 3.73 with a locking diff pretty soon. Steve from internal engine sold his headers. Anyone have some used shorties? Thanks everyone for the handle web sites. Hey any chance you could explain again how to do the keyless entry mod. I can get the cover off the thing to expose all the wires, but I am not sure what to do. Do I leave the wires intact and run a new wire from one to the other, or do I completely eliminate one of the factory connections? Sorry to be a pain! Thanks.

I was just looking at the keyless entry schematics again, and I think I told you wrong - you'll need to add a relay to reverse one of the BCM's outputs.
Let me know if you'd like plans drawn up.

Re: ?'s on gear ratios, Escalade handles, keyless entry mod, and headers
I have a question about swapping the instrument panel in my 99 for one with a tranny temp gauge out of a Chevy HD. I know all GM trucks come with a tranny temp sender installed at the factory and the gauge will work without modification. BUT my concern is, someone told me that my Airbag light will stay on constantly! Does anyone know of a way around that? Has anyone swapped their instrument panel for one with the tranny temp gauge and had no problem with the Airbag light coming on? I have a part number ready to order but I wanted to make sure im not stuck with my Airbag light staring back at me when I drive my truck! Any help would be greatly appreciated! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
