Safe RPM limit
I have set my rev limit to 5600 rpm on an internally stock 5.3 L33, is this going to cause premature wear? Sounds fine when i run it up there

it should be safe. i use to spin my motor when it was stock to 6200

5600 is where mine shifted when it was stock and still does. I would set the rev limiter at 6000.

youll be safe, with my cam and springs limiter is set at 6800. I shift at 6400 though

Shifting at 7k here. Was on a stock bottom end, but I did finally put some rod bolts in.

stock is 5600 for me, i have it at 5900 now though in a stock 4.8

I have a stock 4.8 shift @ 6200. you should be fine at @ 6000k red line no prob...
