Sc and 112 lobe??
I am looking at putting a whipple sc on my truck. My mods are in my sig but the cam has a 112 lobe sep on it. I was wondering how much that will hurt me that it isn't at least a 114 or larger. Will it be worth putting on without a cam change because i don't want to change the cam? Any info will help and i know i will have to put stock pully back on. Just wondering what it will do.

It feels pretty good. I put a tt3000 and a nelson tune in at the same time. WoW is all i can say. A big difference between a stock 99 and that. It has a noticible idle but pulls pretty hard. Going to get it dynoed today.

It would work good with a stock converter. It has power from like 1000 to somewhere in the 5800 rpm range by the way it feels. It is a reall good cam for a N/A motor. I have the stock 3.73 and it works good with them but 4.10's you can't go wrong.

What your really looking for is less overlap which is affected by the Lobe Sep. A 114 can be worse that a 112 depending on the timing of the valve openings.
