Scanning "Delivered engine torque"...
Anyone here scan Delivered Engine Torque?
I don't really expect the numbers to be accurate in that 350ft/lbs is 350ft/lbs at the wheels, but... Would the numbers be trustworty enough to use to plot a poor-mans power curve?
I scanned it this morning, and I'm intrigued by the numbers I see.

I used the tech 2 when I lost 4th gear and noticed the delivered transmision torque. When I went for a test ride it hit 427 ft lbs. I was wondering how much more I would lose to the wheels.

Wow!
Yeah, I saw 'delivered tranny torque' also, but I went for the engine. Last I remember (back in June when I got HPT), they both read about the same.

Hopefully the my service manager will let me borrow the tech2 for the weekend and i'll check the engine torque. I got some barn jobs to do at home and need the tech 2. I had to learn how to use the tech 2 because of the shitty whipple computer keep setting codes.

Delivered eng tq is supposed to be at the flywheel. Highest I have ever scanned on mine is about 436ft-lbs!
This is not accurate because it is just a PCM calculation used to reference certain tables. However, I have heard that it can be used as a tuning tool to monitor gains or losses. I think there are value scaling/interpretation issues between the various scan tool providers, so HPT may not read the same as EFILive or a Tech II.
Also consider that if you start modifying your tune, the values are less likely to be accurate. For example, if you increased your MAF table by 20%, the deltq will probably respond similarly since MAF reading is one of the primary inputs for that calculation.
