I chirp during the 1-2 shift almost everytime at WOT, but I don't have any TQ management and I have a billet servo.

Hehe, sounds familiar. My truck had a nice bark at 1-2 with a stock tune, does it even easier now without TqMgt. It's gonna take some serious cojones to get that to hit that hard on a 2-3 in a 4x4...a stout torque curve and the full race feed hole that's ~.099

If you do get a third gear "chirp" make sure it is definitely a chirp. Before I installed a nice driveshaft, I would get a "chirp" more of a squeel going into third, it was the ujoints binding up, LOL.

btw, I can get a third gear scratch over 100mph going into third, hehehe.

After my tranny went I decided harsh barking tires were not a good thing.

I will bark/scratch/chirp the 1-2 at anything over half throttle but I have yet to get one on the 2-3 on dry pavement.

I can run about 50mph in D and when I punch it it will catch a badass scratch (sometimes, ohter times it just chirps)!

on my last pass at the track i had it chirp into third. 1-2 shift is a normal thing, the 2-3 is a harsh enough shift, but normally doesn't chirp. running drag radials on the street now so probably just the 1-2 shift now.

I usually spin pretty bad into 2nd. At the track i start spraying in 2nd and spin into 3rd, and at @ 85 i finnaly start to get traction. It pulls like a mother when it finnaly hooks.

Do billet servos make the shifts very much firmer? I think the only reason my trany has lasted is because its stock, no shift kit and TQ management. I would like firmer shifts though, but dont want a shift kit till i get the FLP in.
