We still do not have a local dragstrip to do any REAL racetrack testing. The only thing we have is closed down track that the owner runs street nights on. No times, no tree...
It's hard to say what the truck actually runs but I have been going every weekend to the street nights and trading very close wins/losses with another GM truck that ran consistent 10.30s 1/8th mile when we did have an operational track. I have also been racing against my girlfriend's Acura RSX Type-S, which runs 10.20s 1/8th mile. I tend to be just on her bumper through the 1/8th. If this works out to be accurate, the truck picked up .6-.7 1/8th mile, which is quite impressive.
E-Fans are now installed and Motive 3.90s are waiting to go in. This crew cab is a big girl, and it takes it a while to get her moving, but once power overcomes weight, it really MOVES!!!
MPG has come up dramatically with tuning and e-fans. I am currently seeing 13.2 MPG City average, which is down from 13.8 MPG before the motor swap.
We are very pleased with the setup and can't wait to put the 3.90s in. A small converter, less than 3K, may be in the truck's future as well. Time will only tell.

Did you ever get a bare set of heads? I was just going over this thread with a co worker. I think If everyone could see one apart to see how exstinsive the work is it would help them better understand What a screaming deal these are.
I am also curious if you ever got the truck back on the Dyno to see how much the E-fan swap free'd up???

No bare heads at the moment, but I can try to get some done and get some pics posted.
It hasn't gone back on the dyno yet, but a noticeable difference was felt. Also, MPG came up 1-1.5 MPG average.
This Friday, we will be @ Hobbs Motorsports Park in Hobbs, NM and I will finally have a chance to get 1/4 mile timeslips for it. I will use the 1/8th mile numbers and correct them to sea level as I did earlier in this thread to show gains. Hoping the truck will do 15.90s. 4000' DA and 6000 lb truck w/ stock converter and 3.42s (3.90s sitting in box at my desk ). Stock trucks around here will run low 17s, high 16s, so a 15.90 will be a vast improvement.

Wish I was closer to see this stuff in person. I picked up E-fans, harness, and a larger radiator. 2400-2600 Stall and fresh trans are already in. I built or started building the 5.3 motor a few years back before all these options were availible so there is not as much work done on my cylinder heads. It should still Perform pretty well for a DD truck. I also can't wait to swap the rear end my self. I hate having the parts there but not having the time to do it. I really dont like the 3.42's

Oh, I would also appericate the pictures if you get a chance. Would make a nice touch to the thread. I think it would also show perspective buyers what there getting for the money. It's funny how people like to gripe like there not getting a good deal. You Just can't beat the price of something like this. CNC equipment isn't cheap. It also takes alot of time and R&D to make a program that works well with a package like this.
