I did pretty much the same thing that AndysC3 did except I used 2 1/2 inch pvc conduit. I used on long sweep 90 and one long sweep 45. I just cut a hole in the bottom of the stock air box down through the metal plate under it with a hole saw and used a male adapter to hold it in place. Caulked up around it and then painted the conduit black. Just positioned the pieces so the opening was just behind the tow hook. I get ambient temps pretty much all the time. Unless I sit in traffic for more than 3 or 4 minutes.
