Default SES Code

I just got a code read on my truck. P0420 "Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)". I just wanted to make sure that this is the rear O2 sensor saying that the cats aren't working properly. Am I correct to assume that this will not mess with my A/F ratios?
