Default SES light

I have had the "low fuel" light light for the last 2 days now and my truck truck started idling very rough. I realized my truck was at the its last drop of fuel so I went over to the station. After a fill up and driving for a few yards, my SES light come on. My truck has 28k miles and had never seen that before. Please help. Thanks in advance.

You may have left the gas cap loose. Check that it is tight. You may have set a P0440 evap code. I would wait a couple days to have it scan checked if you have to pay for it. The code should reset itself if this is the case.

I just remembered, if it was idling rough. It may have set a P0300 random misfire code. This one will clear itself also.
