SES Light again! From EGR mod....now have questions...
Okay...once again my SES light popped on. Dragged my desktop to my garage (laugh away, POS Serial Portless work laptop sucks!), AutoTap said EGR Insufficient Flow.
So now my question is...
I put the restrictor plate under the EGR valve itself on the feed end of the valve. Is that the wrong place for this? Does it need to be on the supply side? Is it supposed to go under the Manifold to EGR pipe?
Some one's gotta know!

Once again I redid this mod and it seems okay and the SES light has been off for my little bit of driving. Hopefully it will stay this way...

Why didn't you just put a block off plate without a hole in it on the header bung and put some foam K&N filter material up into that tube that goes fron the header bung to the EGR valve. You leave the EGR tube disconnected so when the EGR is commanded open by the PCM it breathes in clean filtered air and the exhaust goes out the exhasut pipe as it should. No SES and you have a clean throttle body and intake manifold to boot. The inside of my throttle body is so clean you can eat off of it, but I'll be yours looks like the inside of a 50 year old chimney.
