Default she put up a good fight....

but after 2 days fighting with my truck in a friends shop i beat her. headers are finally installed. i swear i think my truck really didnt want headers cause i had to retap 2 holes, it took the biggest impact wrench i could get ahold of to get the flange bolts off and the smallest socket/rachet i could find to get the drivers side bolt closest to the firewall on and off. then of course the flange bolts they sent with the headers for the passenger side were too short luckily we had some that worked laying around in the shop.

now its time for many bears to sooth my wounds
hopefully in the next week or so i can get her tuned and back to the track.

Glad you got em done, sorry to hear that they were a PITA. What headers did you go with, LT's or the JBA shorties in your sig?

went with the shorties so i wouldnt have to redo my exhaust. once the truck is paid off i plan on doing a 6.0 build and then i'll go with lt's. in the mean time im going to work on getting a rear end and tranny for it. by the time i get all the pieces i need for the swap the truck should be paid off.
