I have a b-day coming up and will have a little money to play with.

Let me know what you recommend and why!

What exactly will "billet intermediate" and "overdrive servos" do?

I was looking at the TCI shift kit #376002. It includes the servos and tranny filter for about 30 bucks cheaper then the transgo. Check out this thread in the auto tranny section.

On the pulleys, I remember a while ago there was a problem with the belt if the alternator pulley was used to. What became of this?

Do you think I should use the alt. pulley too or just the crank?

Get a 1/2" smaller belt thatn what ASP calls for and all is good. This was a fix for me anyway.

I was looking at the TCI shift kit #376002. It includes the servos and tranny filter for about 30 bucks cheaper then the transgo. Check out this thread in the auto tranny section.
In that thread there was some ambiguity on whether or not the stock trans will hold a gear or not.
I don't know about the F-bods, but I went to the track (with MarineBlue03GMC so he is witness) and put it in 3rd gear to see how much better (if any) it would launch/pull/go faster.
Well, I left it in 3rd the whole way, and I was like, "Crap, end of 3rd gear...will it shift or will it hit the limiter and I have to let off before the 1/4 mile is over?"
To my surprise, it shifted into 4th, but VERY shitty and it felt like it just fell on its face.
Needless to say, I didn't do that again
So, my question is the same as that on the other thread, will this shift kit hold the gear and just hit the limiter instead of what happened when it's stock?
I always wondered what it meant when it says "Will hold any gear"

Um well on the side of the case of the 4L60E there is a set of apply pistons...or servos. Basically the billet ones increase load capacity of the 2-4 band making for far better shifts.

The TCI servo looks like the factory Corvette servo to me...their shift kit looks like a B&M one that only replaces the seperator plate
