Default Shifts harder after gear swap. Normal?

So I did the swap to 4.10’s about a week ago and now it shifts harder. Even barks the tires on the 1-2 upshift at part throttle. Other than the harder shifting everything is normal. I prefer the hard shifting but is it normal to shift harder.

Only mods to the trans that I have are a servo and bump in line pressure with a Hypertech.

when i did my gear swap (only 3.73 so far) it felt like it shifted harder to me. same as you described. i lowered the line pressure and it shifts about like it did with the 42's.

Everyone knows the 4.8 is just as good, if not better then the 5.3.

Yes, commonly if you move to a numerically larger gear, the shifts firm up.
