BTW, here in New Jersey, they do a quick visual inspection...every time that I've gone they've stuck a mirror underneath my truck and inspected that the cats were there.

Just checked their website...they still offer headers for the 99-06 trucks, but I guess that they fell out of favor considering that they're almost $800 and not even stainless. For a while they were about all you could get IIRC. I didn't see anything listed for 08 though...

Dynatech and ARH make headers for the GMT900 trucks, and from that link, it appears that the Pacesetters will work...

I've got the old school AZ speed and marine. At one point, they were on the world's quickest NBS truck

I didn't know they were not stainless.

If I had to do it again, I would buy the LPP and have them coated.
