shorty headers?

Exclamation shorty headers?

hey i was thinkin about installin sum edelbrock ceramic metallic shortys on my 06 chevy 5.3.. im just wonderin are they a reasonable upgrade? like is it worth the money in performance increase? or just a waste of time.. also i have tru duals rite now.. would it be better to run an X pipe?.. thanx

not worth it. save up for longtubes.

look into pacesetter ceramic coated long tubes

My bro put some shorties on my old truck(02' rcsb 5.3) not really much of a performance improvement but they did add a little sound.....if you want performance go with some LT's

well heres the thing if i do lt's id have to ditch the cats and get a tune and i dont wana mess with that.. and the x pipe?

u dont "have" to get it tuned, but it definately helps. If you want to waste your money on shorties, id rather spend that money on a tune instead.

ok explain to me how i could run longtubes and factory cats at the same time? im not seein the room for all that but.. have you seen this done?

If you search you can find plenty of people with Lts and cats, this is kinda what it will look like, there is plenty of room...
