Default Shorty vs Longtube.. how much power are we leaving?

A friend of mine has a 03 Silverado, the set up is going to be a flat top 408, 228r cam, TEA ported 317s, 2800 converter. He all ready has a set of Edelbrock shortys ran through the stock y pipe and cats. WIth this motor set up how much power is he leaving on the table keeping his shortys and y pipe vs going long tubes and 3" ory. If he does keep the stock y set up he'll be removing the cats. So Shortys and stock Y with no cats vs longtubes and ORY on a 408. How much power is he giving up? I'm gonna say in the 20rwhp range. What do you think?

Default

On a 408 it will be much more dramatic.
A stock manifolds/ypipe minus cats lets call the baseline.
Shorty headers would result in maybe an extra 15rwhp.
Proper Long tube headers 1 7/8" primaries will net 50rwhp.
