Which should I get first, Converter or Nitrous?
With my limited budget I can afford one or the other right now. My truck is a stock 5.3 z71 except for a flowmaster 40 series with dual 4 inch turndowns and a K&N drop in. I'm thinking either the Yank TT3000 or the NOS 5177 dry 100 shot. anyway I still gotta few questions for you guys:
Is the truck thruster the only converter that retains towing capacity? I wouldn't mind goin with another company since hearing about Parish's deal
Is it ok to install the convertor on a stock tranismission ?(stock tuning and no shift kit or servos) How hard is the install?
Anybody have loud exhaust with a high stall? I've heard it makes your truck run louder. My big 4 inch turndowns like to set car alarms off already
I figure both mod cost about the same. This is the 3rd night this week that I have not gone to bed cuz I've been up abusing the search button doin research. 5:23am and I'm still up!

i would go with the verter do to the fact you can find used nitrous kits for a decent price. converters normally keep their value while nitrous kits can be found substantially lower priced. one thought, you can always build a custom dry kit. i am sure the nitrous guys here will be more than happy to give you a parts list.
