hey there guys just a little question ive got here.. on my 09 denali im currently doing a head and cam swap with vvt delete.. after its done *leaving the car on for 30mins-45* do i need to drive it normally for aproxx 500-600 miles without WOT or could i floor it as soon as its tuned..

cause normally when people buy a new car.. they drive it under 3000rpm for 500-600 miles because the engine is brand new u knw.. so its almost the same concept here cause i changed the heads and cam...

When a car is new and they tell you to break it in is more for the bottom end of the motor not the top end

I'd heat cycle the springs at least once though...then beat it like a red-headed stepchild lol
