Default should i swap to a new muffler?

i have a 2006 silverado crewcab 5.3.i went to my local muffler shop and told the guy that i wanted my truck to sound like the other 2 silverados that he did the exhaust for a few weeks back.he said no problem and brought the truck to the back.th exhuast turned out real nice with dual 3" ss rolled tips out the passenger side.well when i got back home,i decide to take a look at the exhaust, and it looked great, but i noticed that he used a short glasspack, and the piping that he used was smaller than stock.i was wondering if swapping to a different muffler like a magnaflow,or a borla would help out more than the glasspack did.i have also thought about just getting a magnaflow catback.thanks for any help guys.

If you're happy with the sound, and not planning much in the way of performance upgrades in the future, I wouldn't worry about replacing it unless (or until) it rusts out.

I liked the glass pack muffler that was on my truck (it rusted and about fell off) more than my Hooker muffler now.

yea it depends on what Glasspack he used... if it starts rusting, go get you a Stainless Stell Magnaflow or some type of straight tru muffler.
