naw it isn't gonna be bad, just not as loud/deeper potentially. really the muffler isn't much less efficient than the 3". 14.5 square inches less than the 3" muffler (surface area of extra ID). really unless you're going turbo or you're putting out some serious boost, I wouldn't worry about it

iono, i posted on your other thread about that kinda.
goto the media section of ls1tech and search for hooker muffler and see if there's any vids with a cam like the one you have. it'll sound good and a little lopey, not too much though.

yeah, it also sounds a lot different in a video than in real life. my pacesetters sound badass in real time, but on the video clip it doesn't sound all that great. best of luck to ya man

I've got a 3" hooker aerochamber that exits before the passenger side tire. Sounds great! very mean. But, the forged 6.0l 224 cam and turbo may help with that!

I have the Aerochamber dumped and i love it. 1) you dont have to worry about polishing the tips 2) I think the truck looks (so to speak) "clean" meaning no pipes are sticking out the side or rear. No what i mean!
