all you tranny guys post up and tell me some of the things a trashed converter will do. i think mine might be going away, it has issues on the highway and i was having definate problems launching last night when trying to get some times. i use to have the NX wet kit on it and sprayed it pretty heavily so i think the stock one might be on it's last legs. help me out here guys.

Hey Slowv I remember you saying the other day you were putting a cam in? Well if you didn't do a custom tune yet, the misfire codes can cause the converter to lock and unlock when it shoudln't. That might be the problem. Let me know what you find out.

THAT'S PROBABLY IT!!! but today i started it up and the p300 code was gone, NO....NO SES light what so ever. but when we atapped it last night it was getting 20-35 random misfires per cycle, which is nothing out of the ordinary. who knows...today it was much better, but yesterday and the day before it was total ****. guess i'll just have to step up to a yank 3800 or something like that....DARN!!!!!!1

Change your low rpm table to 32000 that my help stop the converter from unlocking its in engine diagnostics it may take a while for your computer to learn the changes you are making
