Default Silly video of me trying to launch on 8psi

My times were not the greatest but about what I expected after my lastest testing on the G-Timer. Seems I am about 3-5mph lower on both the G-Timer and the track than what I was 2 weeks ago. I'll figure out what's up and get back there as soon as I can. I just wish I hadn't dicked with the intake piping after I picked it up from the shop or I might not have keep popping tubes last night. Hense the horrible times/mph

Anyway, thanks to Vojto I got some pretty neat footage of a 4wd launch gone wrong. Thx bro.

4WD launch at 8psi. Hard to see in the video but I swear tires were bouncing off the ground. Even people at the track thought the tires were lifting, only instead of both at once it was more like one at a time, alternating. LOL

Buckin 4x4!

I am waiting on a disc version of the videos so I can post them up. Till then all I have is this choppy one sent through email.

Do you have the tortions cranked up? It looks like your front end is higher than stock. You need to lower that thing!

I did a launch out on my testing road once and before I knew it, I was in the oncoming lane! It can get scary huh?

I assume you let off on the 12.9 at 94 run? Lets have a breakdown of your times. 60' also.

It's stock height for a Z71, it actually has a rake to it as it sits. But yeah, they come with the torsion bars pretty much maxed out. I plan on lowering it but have not got around to it yet.

Temps were between 97deg and 78deg that night.

Best ET was:

60': 1.84
1/8: 8.15 @ 84.9mph
1/4: 12.862 @ 103.27mph

Best MPH was:

60': 2.05
1/8th: 8.59 @85mph
1/4: 13.26 @ 104.99mph

The run in the 2nd part of the video was:

60': 1.84
1/8th: 7.99 @ 85.0mph
1/4: 13.6 @ 72.3mph < Tube blew off again so I let off way early.

I weighed the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and was at 4950 without me.

The thing that makes me mad is it was running so good a couple weeks ago then one day I went out to make a couple runs while it was cool outside before work and I started trapping 103-105.5mph on the Timer when i had previously been running 108.5mph.

The 2nd launch in the video was the 3rd time I posted. I blew the tube off pretty early on that run.

The first video was a 2.0 60' LOL
