Two words will solve most of your problems with lauching. Front Locker!!! so front wheels will be powered, no more wheel to wheel unloading.

Im so down down for that. And by that I mean a GTG not the money thing. I just moved here to Chico and there isnt the car coulter Im used to. In the Fresno area where I grew up on a weekend night any number of hang out spots would have a hundred or so cars just hanging out, talking cars and street racing. Out here Ill find a hand full of ricers so I just keep driving. Ill definitely sing up.

I've bounced my truck around like that more than you can imagine trust us guys that are saying drop the T-bars it makes more difference than you think. Watch out your going to bend a tie rod doing that I've manage to kill 3 sets so far.

Anyway, thanks to Vojto I got some pretty neat footage of a 4wd launch gone wrong. Thx bro.

4WD launch at 8psi. Hard to see in the video but I swear tires were bouncing off the ground. Even people at the track thought the tires were lifting, only instead of both at once it was more like one at a time, alternating. LOL

Buckin 4x4!

I am waiting on a disc version of the videos so I can post them up. Till then all I have is this choppy one sent through email.
sheesh, were you getting some torque steer there?

LOL man I had crap flying all over the truck. It seriously felt like I just ran over 4 speed bumps at 25mph! Hahaha

As for lowering it, i trust you guys and will do it ASAP. I just need to get the 2wd U-bolts so I can lower the rear to match or else I'm gonna look seriously funny.

Velvet, our board is pretty mellow, especially on the street racing thing because of our non profit status but the people are great I'm hoping to get more trucks on there.

unless it has just recently been released, there is still no front traction device of any kind available for the 1/2 ton front diff.

That sounds awesome.

In regards to height - I like the looks of it just the way it is. I understand it'll probably perform better slammed but then people are going to expect more out of it when they see you on the road, track, etc.

I like the stock height humbleness.

No front locker for half-tons that blows. Guess it time to trade in for a HD 6.0, look at what you get; HD transfer case, 4180e, 11.5 rear, 9.25 front(which there is an e-locker for it). Sounds good to me.!!
