so your saying swapping a true ls1 into a 03 silverado or so is illegal? cause the motor is most likely from 02 and down?

and i think the lq9 has different harness and reluctor ring doesnt it? id go for a l92 or something if i was you

Yeah i would rather do the L92 swap but my buddy was selling me a LQ9 for cheap so I didnt know if it would be worth it doing the LQ9 swap since its off a nbs

lq4/lq9 are not direct swaps on our nnbs.. they have 24X relucter crank wheel, and sensor's are located different places. ... dont get me wrong , its still possible- but you have to pull the crank, change the reluctor wheel 58X( hastle) . . if you pick up a lsX 6.0 off a gto 06+ or basically as long as they have 58X reluctor wheel, the swap should be straight foward. .

but these NNBS have so much potential 5.3 (ly5), with the correct setup u can be running 12.XX's

I've seen full bolt on's + decent cam/stall running 12's w/out any head work..
