Default Single Chamber Flow?

Im thinking about hacking off my current system in favor of just a single 3" in 3" out one chamber race flow with a dump. Right now im running a single in dual out magnaflow with 3" pipes after the muff and 4" tips. The system is so heavy i keep on breaking rear hangers whenever i go offroad....and added on to that, its alot quieter than my old 3 chamber flowmaster system with 2 1/2" pipes. I dont think the single chamber will resonate too much on the inside with a dump because im so high off the ground.

I was just wondering how well the single chamber's flow in comparison to my current magnaflow. Im really not looking for any gains in performance because i my current system surely flows enough for just a 5.3. Im wanting to get some sound back and make it a little louder, without taking anything away performance wise than what i have now. Plus, i would probably loose 40 or 50 lbs without having the 3" tubes and 4" tips and the big muff.
