Default slow track times

I just made a trip to the local dragstrip friday night and i was pretty disappointed in my times. It is a 1000 ft. track and a ran a 12.1 at 86mph and 1/8th mile in 9.3 at 77mph with a 2.3 60 ft. time. I think this is a little slow considering i dynoed at 392rwhp a couple weeks ago. The temp was hot though that may of had something to do with it and I am running 20's but i was figuring that i should run about 11.5 in the 1000 ft. Any suggestions?

The 60' times sound a little slow, the rest is probably the hot weather. My Tahoe turned 1.809 60' times with a 8.42 @80.95 in the 1/8 and a 11.062 1000'time.That's 5400lb Tahoe with a Radix Magnacharger and ASM headers.

no typo's that is what a ran and i did it twice in a row. My 60 foot times are slow probably because of lack of traction but second gear hooks up and goes. It was 95 deg. at the track so my truck was probably in low octane mode so it retarded the timing. The wierd thing is a ran the same times in the past with just a 75 shot of juice. I think i need a high stall converter because i have so much top end.

yeah a nice yank 3000 or 3200 stall wiht some et streets would do that P1-sc some justice ...dont worry too much wiht that much heat and 60 ft times your times are still good....
