Must be the loudmouth II's, cause even with stock manifolds and cats mine was louder than that with more rumble. Now with longtubes and no cats it is an animal. Mine sounds like this guys^^^, except I dont have that baddass cam idle.

I'm pretty sure its the LM1's. I bought it on ebay from a guy who had it on a trans am. I am running all stock manifolds with cats (we need em in AZ) with stock piping until the pipe then after is a 3 in. elbow to a 4 in. 24 in. long exhaust tip.

You dont need cats. I know many people that have passed emissions with out them.

probably with a custom tune i wouldnt need a tune otherwise i would have DTC's comin up. i dont know of any tuners out in Glendale just Gilbert or Mesa.

my truck has pacesetter LTs 2.5" duel, no cats, and two loudmouths dumped before the axle. been getting my inspection like that for the last 4 years

I like the sound, it has a nice low tone, but I'm not a fan of the popping, my exhaust does that too Any way to get rid of that popping, or is it a characteristic of the muffler?
