Default SLP or ? for a suburban

So i have the gibson super sweep exhaust on the suburban, It sucks.. or i just got a bad one. Its louder inside the burban than out side, at ideal you cant hear anything then when your on the gas it has a fluff / drowning sound like water is in it.

So because this is a 8.1L it true dual 3" exhaust. The big muffler works like a Y pipe stock.. then dumps out a little tail pipe.

The Gibson i got cam with two "tail pipes" which looks nice,

So what i was thinking was just cut the gibson "muffler" and put two smaller muffer on it, ( one on each pipe ) then run the gibson tail pipes.

So i was wondering what mufflers out there would sound nice but not be too loud. I saw SLP has a loud mouth II's for sale, but from running those on a F body i think that would be crazy loud.

Then Jegs has a Super 50 "big Block" ( one big muffler) for like $150.00....

anywya here are some of the options... I think this might turn into a continuing test.. I also thought about running the GM exhaust off the 6.2L denalies, But they are single in out combo that looks like 4" I figured i could Y it... But im not sure if that big enough for the extra cubs.

Here are a few from jegs.
